Fragments and Chaos

Fragments and Chaos is an original acrylic painting on canvas that captures a turbulent period in the artist’s life. Memories, objects and places collide across the canvas in bold, overlapping pieces. Nothing sits quietly, and every corner pulls the eye somewhere new.

Look closely and the story unfolds in fragments. There are bowls of fruit and wine bottles, teapots and church towers, small boats and a yellow vintage car. A pair of dice and a board game path end in a question mark. A seven of hearts is taped to the canvas, a black bird perches in the centre, and a line of ants marches across an orange cloth. All of it is held together by sharp geometric shapes and saturated colour: deep reds, cobalt blue, emerald, orange and lemon yellow.

It is a painting about how life feels when everything happens at once. Chance, home, faith, love and uncertainty are pieced together into one vivid whole. It is a statement piece for a living room, hallway or studio wall, and it will keep revealing new details over time.
